Tomorrow is day one with my training program for the virtual 5-K program that I signed on for via Sparkpeople.com I am actually really excited about it. I have never really wanted to run races to be in the lead to win. But I have always wanted to run, just to say that I can do it. In High School I was the kid who would run a lap and than walk a lap to walk a few step and jog a few steps to complete a mile. I think my Freshman yr it took 18 minutes to complete a mile
So Please wish me luck as I embark on this new endeavor. If any of you have started from the couch to running a 5 K and have any hints please share them not only with me but the other members of my group. It doesn't matter who runs the fastest, but who finishes the race
