Mamavation Monday-Week 2

This is my second week on Mamavation and I have one goal for this week....no take out or fast food for this week...including just the occasional cup of coffee from Starbucks.  I just balance my check book & I was shocked as to how many times in the past month I grabbed a coffee to go.  HOLY MOLY I spent almost $40 just on coffee!!  I don't need to do that again.  Not only is a wast of $$$ but it adds a lot of unnecessary calories.  I weighed in this week as well.  Considering we had a Packer Party last night with lots of unhealthy food & drinks I was quite happy that I didn't gain any weight.  I didn't lose any either, but that's ok.  I know I will make up for it this week.  Also, this is my week 2 in training for my 5K.  So please wish me luck.  Here is what my training schedule looks like.....

Walk for 3 minutes, then jog for 2 minutes. Repeat 4 more times. (Total workout time: 25 minutes)

I will do this on Mon, Wed, & Friday.

As for the Blogging Carnival Question of the Week...
Question: What parts of your body are you especially proud of right now? What makes you love them?

I honestly don't know if I have a body party that I am most proud of.  Why because I want to change them all....make them smaller!  The only part of my body I would never change is my face.  So perhaps that is the body part that I am most proud of.  My face tells about the hard work that I put in everyday.  My husband always says that I can never tell a lie, because my eyes always give me away.  So pulling a surprise on him is nearly impossible.

  1. Great goals of not eating out. I can't live without my coffee, but have found that I enjoy it so much more making it myself. Plus I know what is in it that way. Congratulations on maintaining your weight despite the party. Good luck with your 5k training for the week.
