Mamavation Monday-Week 3

Can you believe how fast that week went?  Seems like yesterday that I weighed in.  I am happy to report that I lost 1# last week.  whoohoo:)  I am so happy.  It may be small, but at least its a start.  I did meet my goals of no fast food & no going out for coffee.  My hubby is more proud of me on that aspect than I think that I am.  I am continuing to train for my 3K this week.  My other goals for the week is to log at least 6 hours of cardio as well as get in at least 1 day of strength training.

BLOGGING CARNIVAL: This week’s blogging carnival is sponsored by New Balance.
How would you brand your health and wellness lifestyle?  How do you want others to know you in this area?
I would brand my health style as getting healthy without breaking the bank.  I am on a tight budget when it comes to food, so unfortunately buying the healthier option is not always an option.  I would like to be remembered by how I am trying to cut calories from my diet with out cutting the taste.  Its not always easy, but I do always try.  A good example of that is when I cook a boxed meal, I try to use chicken instead of ground beef.  I also omit the butter in almost all recipes as a way to cut calories as well as fat.

This post is sponsored by New Balance and I’m writing this to be entered into a giveaway hosted by Mamavation – a community dedicated to obesity prevention & weight loss for women
