I have said it before & I am sure that at some point I will be saying it again. But I am SICK OF BEING SICK & TIRED. Sure I work out & yes I have been trying to eat healthier, but obviously this hasn't been enough as I have not seen any results on the scale for a LONG time. I have been following several blogs for the past few months & a very good friend of mine has hooked me up with both mamavation moms and now with this new challenge. (Thank you Colleen...you can find out more about Colleen at her blog http://kennedyandzach.blogspot.com) With that being said this program is being provided to me free of charge courtesy of Dustin Maher Fitness. Dustin has provided me and my fellow bloggers with his book , Fit Moms For Life, which has nutritional and exercise information to help us get healthy. As well as testimonials from other moms who have been where I am now & who have completed their goals (some of the moms are even from here in WI). He also provided menus and workouts that we can follow to help enhance a better weight loss.
My Goals...
1) Get to the gym 3-5 times a week not just to work but to work out!
2) To get in the workouts in the morning since I seem to loose ambition & steam in the afternoon
3) Get into a daily journal routine.
4) Try to eliminate more sugars/ white flours from my families diet
5) Continue with my NO fast food for another 30 days (You know I don't even miss it anymore, I had the entire house go on a no fast food diet last month)
My Affirmations...
1) I can succeed
2) I need to take care of me so I can care for my family
My Stats...
I really am not comfortable posting this information for the entire world to see. But I am going to eat crow & share the measurements that I have taken today. It truly makes me cringe seeing these numbers. But I want to ask all my family & friends to respect & support me. My hope is that perhaps there is just one individual reading this who too is embarrassed by the numbers they see on the scale & want to make a lifestyle change. Or perhaps someone else has been in my shoes & have some great insight as to how to achieve a better end result.
Measurements....
Left Arm: 14" Right Arm: 14"
Left Thigh: 26 " Right Thigh: 26 1/8"
Left Calf: 17 1/2" Right Calf: 17 3/4"
Chest: 46 1/2"
Hips: 47"
Waist:40"
Abdomen: 44"
Weight: 214#s
Now you can understand why I despise these measurements. I hate seeing those numbers & I am DETERMINED that they will be down by the end of the 21 days. Please show support of the other bloggers who are joining me in this challenge.
Point total Day 1: 79
Good luck this month!
ReplyDeleteYou can do it....really keep that journal and it will make you think about what you want to eat next. We have both done it before, it just takes some time and committment...We can both do it again!
